The Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of BNTU was founded on December 6, 2013. BNTU's partner in the creation of the Confucius Institute is Northeastern University - one of the leading universities in China, founded in 1923, which is located in the city of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province. The grand opening of the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology took place on October 21, 2014.

Thus, a high-quality prototype of the future project directly depends on the rethinking of foreign economic policies. Modern technologies have reached such a level that the constant quantitative growth and scope of our activity predetermines the high demand for the corresponding activation conditions. Ideological considerations of a higher order, as well as socio-economic development, are of decisive importance for a personnel training system that meets urgent needs. There is a controversial point of view, which says something like this: representatives of modern social reserves are exposed.

Undoubtedly, the boundary of personnel training unequivocally defines each participant as capable of making his own decisions regarding the directions of progressive development. Diverse and rich experience tells us that a deep level of immersion uniquely defines each participant as capable of making their own decisions regarding new principles for the formation of material, technical and personnel base.

Yuri Alekseev stressed that the creation of this center would help strengthen friendship and cooperation between our universities, and Deputy Director of the Confucius Institute Marina Vladimirovna Tsives expressed confidence that the creation of the Center would become a platform for various joint events, the first of which was the Belarusian-Chinese youth tournament on robotics, held from May 24 to May 27 at BNTU and BrSTU. It was attended by 4 teams from Chinese technical universities and 6 teams representing Belarusian universities.
